Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current state nursing license Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting - Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias - Experience with telemetry and remote monitoring - Skills in the management of bowel obstructions, colostomy/ileostomy care, feeding tube management, and renal failure - Proficient in blood product administration, central line blood draws, and peripheral line care - Experience with IV management, including starting and maintaining IVs, heparin, and insulin protocols - Ability to manage pre/post hemodialysis and care for surgical drains and wounds Description: Seeking an experienced registered nurse for an immediate start. The shift will be nights from 18:45 to 07:15. Nurses will manage a patient ratio of 1:6. The facility cares for a diverse population, including patients with various medical conditions such as diabetes, dementia, and pneumonia. Key responsibilities include performing assessments, developing care plans, and implementing interventions. Nurses will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Floating to other units may be required as needed. Weekend work will be expected every other weekend. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Previous charge experience is preferred but not mandatory.
