Le Café Louis Vuitton , in partnership with STARR Restaurants , is a one-of-a-kind destination where gastronomy, design, and culture intersect. Located on the fourth floor of the Louis Vuitton flagship at 6 East 57th Street, the café offers an immersive, design-forward experience—inviting guests to explore a refined, creative menu in an atmosphere inspired by art, travel, and craftsmanship.

We are seeking a passionate and driven Pastry Sous Chef to join our team under the leadership of Chef Mary George. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to help shape and execute a pastry program that is both technically excellent and visually striking.

This position offers a comprehensive package including:

• A base salary range of $68,000- $75,000
• Quarterly bonus program up to 10%

Position Overview

• Support daily pastry operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency
• Execute a polished dessert program aligned with the concept
• Train, mentor, and lead a growing pastry team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen
• Manage prep, ordering, and inventory to ensure freshness and control costs
• Partner with leadership to meet labor and food cost goals

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Pastry Lead or a Pastry Sous Chef 
• Strong fundamentals in ice creams, custards, baked goods, and cakes
• Proven ability to lead a team and drive performance
• Organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven
