Position Details

We are currently looking for a Japanese teacher for one of our clients in Phoenix, United States.

• Session length : two-hour
• Location : Student's home in Phoenix (85034)
• Student Level : Lower Intermediate
• Student Age Group : 25-34
• Schedule : once per week on Thursday, Saturday or Sunday at 5:30 pm
• Start Date : 2026-07-30
• Motivation : Have grown an interest in both the music of Japan, and Yukio Mishima novels. I have taken the JLPT N2 before, know how to read and write fairly well, but have never been able to hold a conversation easily. Would like to grow myself by learning the language, enabling myself to talk to more people.

Ideal Candidate

• Be a native Japanese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
• Have a valid work permit/visa
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location

Conditions

• Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability
• Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
• Freelance, part-time position
• We are not able to sponsor visas
