Overview
Cardiovascular Technologist (OR CVOR Tech) – Hilo, Hawaii. Travel - temporary assignment beginning 09/21/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $1,966-$2,062 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 16-hour rotating shifts in a hospital operating room. This assignment supports a busy OR with 1–2 outpatient GI labs and a variety of scrubbed procedures.

Responsibilities
- Scrub for a broad range of procedures: General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology
- Assist with turnover cleaning and transport patients as needed
- Maintain sterile technique and assist surgeons with instrument handling and occasioning case flow
- Participate in daily OR operations within a small but busy environment and support 1–2 outpatient GI labs
- Orient on day shift for up to a week or as directed by management
- Be available for 24/7 call coverage, with a 20-minute call back time; typical on-call 1–2x weekly, up to 2 weekends per month

Requirements
- Hawaii license by start of assignment; if not active, must apply upon acceptance
- Minimum 2 years of scrubbing experience in a hospital setting
- Ability to work in an operating room environment and adapt to a rotating 16-hour shift schedule
- Must arrive the Thursday before start to complete employee health requirements
- Travel assignment requires completion of a minimum of 39 shifts during the contract if a time-off (RTO) is requested
- Prior experience with a mix of outpatient and inpatient procedures is preferred
