Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and needs.
  • Create customized travel itineraries including luxury vacations, cruises, and group travel experiences.
  • Book flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, and other travel components through industry partners and suppliers.
  • Provide clients with detailed travel information, including itineraries, travel documents, and recommendations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay updated on the latest travel industry trends, promotions, and destination information.
  • Resolve client issues promptly and professionally to ensure a seamless travel experience.
  • Coordinate logistics and communicate with travel suppliers to guarantee client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a travel agent or in a related role within the travel and tourism industry.
  • Strong knowledge of travel destinations, luxury vacation options, cruises, and group travel planning.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client itineraries and details simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with booking systems, travel software, and online research tools.
  • Sales-driven mindset with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Detail-oriented and able to anticipate and solve potential travel issues.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends based on client needs.
