Salary: $62,400 - 83,200 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree.
• We are looking for an experienced senior data scientist with strong expertise in AI/ML solution architecture.
• We value hands-on knowledge of predictive modeling, NLP, generative AI, deep learning, and large language model applications.
• We need proven experience in data ingestion, feature engineering, model evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• We expect familiarity with MLOps practices, model lifecycle management, drift detection, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with cloud-native, big-data tools and platforms such as Python, Spark, Hive, Databricks, and cloud environments is important.
• We seek leadership capability, including mentoring data science teams and influencing stakeholders at senior levels.
• We require an understanding of responsible AI practices, including explainability, bias monitoring, auditability, and regulatory compliance.

• We will have you lead end-to-end AI and machine learning architecture for multiple Medicare Risk Adjustment initiatives.
• You will shape analytics and AI strategy for assigned areas, with attention to scalability, compliance, and business value.
• You will guide key design choices across data pipelines, feature development, model selection, testing, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.
• You will set and uphold engineering, modeling, and MLOps standards across our data science work.
• You will drive innovation in advanced ML, deep learning, and LLM-based solutions such as clinical reasoning, evidence extraction, summarization, and coding intelligence.
• You will assess and apply emerging AI methods, including agentic workflows, hybrid ML and rules approaches, LLM orchestration, and ensemble models.
• You will ensure our AI solutions are explainable, bias-aware, auditable, and aligned with CMS requirements.
• You will mentor and coach senior and junior data scientists to strengthen technical and domain expertise across the team.
• You will provide technical direction, review designs, and help solve complex problems.
• You will support hiring, onboarding, and performance growth for data science talent.
• You will advise senior business, clinical, and technology leaders on AI and ML decisions.
• You will translate analytical findings into executive-ready insights, risks, and recommendations.
• You will partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to support adoption and impact of AI solutions.
• You will promote cloud-native, big-data, and MLOps frameworks across our analytics platform.
• You will manage the model lifecycle, including version control, performance tracking, drift monitoring, and continuous enhancement.
• You will ensure solutions meet enterprise expectations for reliability, security, and scalability.

We are an enterprise healthcare client with an immediate opening for a highly motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic and growing team. This is a telecommute contract opportunity with standard hours from 8am to 5pm and a competitive hourly pay range of $30 to $40.
