Job Description

Salary: $132,000 - 149,000 per year Requirements:

  • We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
  • An active U.S. Secret Clearance or higher.
  • Experience using Cameo System Modeler or similar Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) software.
  • Proficient in the .Net Framework and sysML (or extensive knowledge of Unified Modeling Language).
  • Experience in managing Department of Defense (DoD) contract requirements.
  • Comprehensive experience in all facets of designing and implementing system architecture, requirements, software, and software testing.
Responsibilities:
  • As a Software Systems Engineer, you will be entrusted with the following duties:
  • Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles using Cameo System Modeler.
  • Manage requirements along with tracking and verification for Tomahawk Mission Planning (TMP) systems change requests (CRs).
  • Employ an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and technical solutions.
  • Assess customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrating technical parameters and ensuring compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain system engineering models and documentation while briefing significant modifications to key stakeholders.
  • Document and maintain architectures, requirements, interfaces, designs, and algorithms for the TMP system.
  • Collaborate with the software development team to share expertise and knowledge.
  • Drive TMP software architecture, design, and overall approach through the development, selection, tailoring, deployment of documentation, tools, and metrics while ensuring accuracy and accountability.
  • Establish software requirement plans and deliver technical solutions for diverse challenges, implement TMP and industry-standard software processes, and guide less experienced team members.
