Job Description

Salary: $93,000 - 133,000 per year Requirements:

  • We bring 8+ years of experience in Unity and C# game development.
  • We write clean, maintainable, readable, and dependable production code in C#.
  • We have owned substantial features, systems, or products from implementation through completion.
  • We are skilled in Unity development, including scenes, prefabs, UI, animation, assets, and gameplay logic.
  • We understand gameplay systems, object-oriented programming, and practical software architecture.
  • We have strong debugging skills and can investigate unfamiliar systems, isolate root causes, and fix issues effectively.
  • We understand Unity performance considerations and common optimization approaches.
  • We have experience using Git or similar source control in a professional environment.
  • We work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team setting.
  • We bring a strong sense of ownership and follow through on commitments through shipped work.
  • We stay effective when requirements change, details are unclear, legacy code is involved, or technical challenges arise.
  • We are open to giving and receiving feedback through code reviews, technical discussions, and team collaboration.
  • We communicate clearly and can explain technical decisions, risks, and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical teammates.
  • We are interested in supporting junior and mid-level developers through technical guidance, feedback, and example-setting.
  • Preferred: experience in the casino gaming industry or other regulated gaming environments.
  • Preferred: experience building or maintaining casino games, slot-style games, mobile games, or other Unity-based commercial products.
  • Preferred: experience on small teams where individual developers own large portions of a game or product.
  • Preferred: familiarity with DOTween, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, SQL, profiling tools, or similar development tools.
  • Preferred: experience creating reusable systems, templates, tools, or workflows that improve speed or consistency.
  • Preferred: experience reviewing code and offering practical technical feedback to other developers.
  • Preferred: interest in AI-assisted workflows, automation, or tooling that improves productivity while preserving code quality.
  • Preferred: comfort working in a growing team where standards, processes, and technical practices continue to evolve.
Responsibilities:

  • We own the technical implementation of assigned casino games from initial setup through release.
  • We build gameplay features, UI behavior, game flow, supporting systems, asset integrations, animations, and animator setups using Unity and C#.
  • We translate game design documents, creative direction, and cross-functional feedback into polished, functional, engaging gameplay.
  • We make practical technical decisions that balance quality, speed, maintainability, performance, and project needs.
  • We partner with leads and developers to review technical approaches, architecture choices, and implementation plans.
  • We actively participate in pull requests and code reviews, offering constructive feedback that strengthens code quality across the team.
  • We debug, maintain, and enhance existing games, including legacy products, conversions, and post-release support.
  • We identify technical risks, unclear requirements, and implementation concerns early, then communicate them clearly to leads, managers, and cross-functional partners.
  • We collaborate with designers, artists, audio, QA, and other developers to solve issues and improve game quality.
  • We support junior and mid-level developers with technical feedback, debugging help, and implementation guidance as needed.
  • We contribute to shared standards, reusable patterns, and process improvements that help the team scale effectively.
  • We build or refine internal tools, workflows, or reusable systems when they create clear value for current or future development.
