Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Scrum Master for a Contract with a client in Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate who drives high‑velocity Agile delivery while expertly guiding cross‑functional teams through sprint ceremonies and complex dependency management .

Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Scrum Master job responsibilities include:

• Lead and facilitate all Agile ceremonies—including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives—to maintain team alignment and delivery momentum.

• Manage complex cross-team dependencies and collaborate with architects and developers to identify and eliminate technical bottlenecks.

• Guide multiple cross-functional teams through high‑velocity sprints, ensuring adherence to Agile best practices and organizational priorities.

• Define acceptance criteria, coordinate closely with QA, and ensure data accuracy through rigorous validation processes.

• Track, analyze, and report Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, sprint health) to improve transparency and delivery predictability.

• Create and maintain JIRA dashboards and KPI reports that enhance leadership visibility and support informed decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

• 8–10 years of professional experience, including significant experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.

• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams through high‑velocity sprints and complex project dependencies.

• Strong expertise in Agile frameworks, JIRA management, and delivering scalable solutions in fast‑paced environments.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
