Job Description

Guardian Home Care of NH is seeking a highly organized and motivated Scheduling Coordinator to support the daily operations of our growing home care agency. This role is essential in ensuring that client care needs are met efficiently by coordinating caregiver schedules and delivering exceptional service to both clients and staff. What You’ll Do

  • Create and manage daily and weekly caregiver schedules to meet client needs
  • Match caregivers to clients based on availability, skills, and care requirements
  • Adjust schedules in real-time to accommodate call-outs or changing needs
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client scheduling inquiries
  • Communicate schedule updates clearly to caregivers and clients
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and last-minute changes efficiently
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records within agency systems
  • Track caregiver availability, time-off requests, and compliance
  • Support onboarding by training new caregivers on scheduling procedures
  • Collaborate with operations, clinical, and administrative leadership
  • Assist with incoming calls, faxes, and administrative tasks as needed
  • Participate in an on-call rotation

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of scheduling and/or customer service experience (healthcare/home care preferred)
  • Experience with scheduling software or EHR systems (HHAeXchange preferred)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
