This job posting is for an existing, active vacancy and we are looking to hire a Performance Tester with strong expertise in UI and browser level performance testing for high traffic, customer facing web applications and digital channels.



Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Performance Tester with strong expertise in UI and browser level performance testing for high traffic, customer facing web applications and digital channels. The role requires hands on ownership of end to end performance validation, deep analysis of UI and system behavior, and close collaboration with development and platform teams to ensure scalable, reliable user experiences.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and execute UI focused performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests for customer facing web applications and digital channels.
• Develop comprehensive performance test strategies, scenarios, workloads, and scripts aligned to digital banking traffic patterns and SLA/SLO expectations.
• Utilize LoadRunner (VuGen, Controller, Analysis) as the primary performance testing tool; alternatively, apply strong JMeter expertise with a solid understanding of LoadRunner concepts and reporting models.
• Perform browser level and UI rendering performance testing, including response times, concurrency, client side bottlenecks, and network latency impact.
• Analyze end to end performance results by correlating UI metrics with backend, middleware, and infrastructure behavior.
• Proactively identify, debug, and isolate UI performance bottlenecks related to frontend frameworks, API dependencies, caching, and content delivery layers.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and platform teams to recommend, implement, and validate performance optimizations prior to production releases.
• Produce clear, data driven performance test reports and executive summaries highlighting risks, capacity constraints, and remediation recommendations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong hands on experience in UI performance testing and optimization for high traffic web applications.
• Proven expertise with LoadRunner, or advanced JMeter skills with strong knowledge of LoadRunner architecture, workload modeling, and analysis techniques.
• Experience testing UI applications developed using modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or similar.
• Solid understanding of protocols, browser networking, caching mechanisms, and CDN behavior as it relates to UI performance.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and debug UI level and application level performance issues using test and runtime diagnostics.
• Experience working as an Individual Contributor with full ownership of performance testing delivery, without reliance on shared execution teams.
• Working knowledge of cloud environments (preferably Azure or AWS) and their impact on UI and application performance.
• Hands on experience with observability and APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or similar platforms.
• Ability to interpret logs, traces, and dashboards to support root cause analysis and performance tuning.

Preferred Experience:

• Exposure to CI/CD integrated performance testing for UI and digital channel releases.
• Experience working within banking or large scale enterprise digital platforms, with an understanding of stability, compliance, and release governance requirements.
• Familiarity with accessibility, resilience, and scalability considerations for customer facing banking user interfaces.
