P rivate Family in Haverford, PA Seeking a Full-Time Nanny

Position:   Full-Time Live-Out Nanny Schedule:  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 11:30am -7pm; Wednesday 8:30am - 2:30pm; Friday 8am - 7pm; must be available for occasional early mornings/ evenings Salary:  $35 - $40/hour Start Date:  ASAP

A warm family located in Haverford, PA is seeking a dedicated and highly communicative Nanny to join their household. They have three children—a 4-year-old son, a 2.5-year-old daughter, and a 2-month-old baby girl—and are looking for someone who will become a long-term, trusted partner in their children’s development.

The family values kindness, collaboration, and a thoughtful approach to childcare. They are very hands-on and are looking for a nanny who will work as part of a team alongside mom, dad, and the housekeeper to ensure a well-run and nurturing home environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for the older children while the newborn is with a nurse
• Collaborate with parents to support a gentle, respectful parenting style—guiding behavior through communication and problem-solving
• Plan engaging, screen-free activities (arts & crafts, imaginative play, music, outdoor time)
• Encourage curiosity, creativity, and learning through age-appropriate experiences
• Handle school drop-offs/pick-ups and transportation
• Travel domestically as needed (approximately 8–10 weeks/year, non-consecutive) while maintaining routines

Ideal Candidate & Personality The ideal candidate is warm,   thoughtful, and   passionate about child   development.   They are   patient, nurturing , and   emotionally attuned , with the ability to help children navigate big feelings calmly and constructively. Energetic and creative, they bring enthusiasm to daily activities while maintaining structure and consistency. A team-oriented approach, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in truly getting to know the children are essential.

Requirements

• Prior professional nanny experience in a private household
• Excellent references
• Legal to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Flexibility to travel domestically for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a screen-free household for the children
• Comfortable around dogs
