We are seeking a talented interior designer to add to our team. This is a full-time position, with room to grow and learn. The position will center around FF&E selections, but can also include designing custom millwork, furniture, finish selection, coordination with contractors, and other aspects of design and project managenent, depending on the strengths and interests of the candidate.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with clients to learn requirements, tastes, priorities
• Preparing client presentations of furniture layouts, selections, finishes, budgets
• Sourcing and ordering FF&E
• Developing technical drawing packages and specification schedules

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (drafting) and Rhino and/or Sketchup (modeling)
• Superior communication, professionalism, organization, problem solving, critical thinking skills
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

• Understands the design process and can lead clients through the decisions from schematic design through final installation
• Has great time managemet, and can balance working on multiple projects at once
• Has enthusiasm for taking on new challenges and responsibilities
• Has a knowledge of vendors and showrooms for sourcing FF&E
• Is a quick and intuitive learner, resourceful and able to work independently
• Has an interest in learning about all aspects of design and project management
• Enjoys collaborating as a team and is excited to share new ideas

Shapeless Studio is a collaborative, woman-owned firm. This is an in-office position with limited work-from-home flexibility. Fully remote candidates will not be considered.
