Job Description and Duties

The duties of the Custodian I include maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe work environment daily. General office and restroom cleaning (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, window washing, and refilling lavatory supply dispensers), emptying and cleaning trash receptacles, recycling duties and operating floor buffer. Additional duties include replacing light bulbs, lifting and loading, minor repairs of office furnishings, the maintenance and ordering of cleaning supplies and equipment, and assisting the maintenance worker as needed.

Working Conditions

The Valley Division building has three floors and a basement. You must be able to safely lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Alternate Work Week Schedule available after completion of probationary period.
