Under the general supervision of the Creative Services Supervisor, this position serves as the primary contact for technical support across two large managed rooms: the Goldberg Auditorium and the Golden State Conference Rooms. In this role, you will take on assignments involving the scheduling, communication, coordination, setup, and operation of audio visual systems, hybrid conferencing equipment, and live streaming networks.

Additional responsibilities include supporting video and communication projects that promote internal and external FTB programs and services. These projects may involve creating marketing campaigns, completing graphic design assignments, and providing photography services. You will also be responsible for setting up and running a variety of audio visual equipment to capture and support enterprise wide activities and initiatives.

Working Conditions

• This position requires 4 or more days in the office per week. It is designated office-centered and may be eligible for some remote work based on departmental guidelines and operational need.

• Experience working with customers to plan events that create a great participant experience
• Experience operating professional level audio-visual equipment

• Experience in the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of audio visual equipment and hybrid conferencing systems

• Experience in videography- including professional camera equipment, lighting, microphones, teleprompters, and post-production editin
• Knowledge of audio-visual terminology and equipment
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and support fast paced event environments
• Experience working with professional creative software including Adobe Design software, Final Cut Pro, Premiere
• Experience working with Hybrid Meeting environments such as Microsoft Teams, Webex, Zoom, etc
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities based on customer needs
• Experience researching business or system requirements working with all levels of staff
• Experience in designing, creating and producing various forms of media including video, audio and marketing material
