We are looking for a dynamic and innovative CAD Designer to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and drafting detailed specifications for our engineering projects. This role requires a high level of expertise in CAD software, the ability to create clear and accurate production drawings, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of engineering principles. • Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data.
• Operate computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstations, using AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, and other 3D CAD software.
• Design and prepare production drawings, assemblies, layouts, and other graphics using CAD software.
• Interpret and implement customer specifications into design and production drawings.
• Work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure coordinated design systems.
• Analyze design concepts for compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Provide technical advice to team members and clients on design and drafting procedures, techniques, and standards.
• Continually improve and update CAD skills and software knowledge through ongoing self-directed and formal training.
• Participate in project meetings and conference calls as needed to provide CAD expertise.

• 1-3 years of experience as a CAD Designer in the Engineering industry.
• A CAD Certificate or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, and other 3D CAD software is a must.
• Experience in creating and interpreting production drawings and assemblies.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of drafting principles, techniques, and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and an understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods.
• Ability to interpret and implement customer specifications into design and production drawings.
